Driver in 2010 hit-and-run outside Bay City bar sentenced to probation

So long as he avoids run-ins with the law for the next couple of years, a Bay City man who drove over another man following a bar brawl won’t have to serve prison time. Bay County Circuit Judge Joseph K. Sheeran on Monday sentenced Scott W. Schley, 31, to two years of probation. Schley in June pleaded no contest to assault with intent to cause harm less than murder, a 15-year felony.
